There have been 16 further Covid-related deaths reported in Northern Ireland since Friday – five in the last 24 hours.
Three of those deaths since Friday occurred in the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon borough with one in the Newry, Mourne and Down District and two in Mid Ulster.
The highest number of cases (711) in the last seven days have come from the 10-14 age range.
According to the official dashboard, there were a further 1,020 positive cases reported in the last 24 hours, with 110 in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon – the third highest in NI. There were 92 positive cases in Newry, Mourne and Down while Mid-Ulster District recorded 112. Belfast had the highest with 164.
A total of 4,210 individuals were tested in that time.
There are 379 – down 40 – people in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus, 33 – down five – of whom are in intensive care unit.
There are 97 – down 12 – Covid patients in the Southern Trust area, 66 of whom are in Craigavon Area Hospital. There are nine patients in Daisy Hill and 16 in South Tyrone Hospital.
There are currently 18 ICU beds available in Northern Ireland.
The total number of deaths now stands at 2,509.
Hospital occupancy currently stands at 102% – down 1% – of capacity.
The Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area accounts for 340 deaths overall; Newry, Mourne and Down District accounts for 192 while Mid-Ulster has registered 238 deaths.
