There have been a further three Covid-19 deaths in Northern Ireland, according to figures released by the the Department of Health (DoH) this afternoon (Friday).
Their total now stands at 504, compared to Nisra’s tally – which is released on a weekly basis – of 664.
Nisra figures record all deaths where Covid-19 is mentioned on a death certificate.
The Department’s figures show a total of 4,504 people have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 23 from yesterday.
In the ABC area, 487 people have tested positive whereas 270 have tested positive in Newry, Mourne and Down, which covers south Armagh.
