There have been two further Covid-related death reported by the Department of Health in Northern Ireland today (Tuesday).
Both those people died within the last 24 hours according to the official dashboard.
The ABC Borough accounts for 284 deaths overall. Newry, Mourne and Down District has a total of 165 deaths and Mid-Ulster currently now has 200 – up one from yesterday.
The overall total number of deaths recorded by the Department now stands at 2,107.
There were a further 174 positive cases reported in the last 24 hours, with 17 in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon. There were a further 11 in Newry, Mourne and Down and 25 in Mid-Ulster – joint highest in NI, alongside Belfast.
A total of 2,048 individuals were tested.
There are 159 – one less than Monday – people now in hospital across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus, 14 of whom are in intensive care units – down one from yesterday.
There are currently 29 – down three people in hospitals in the Southern Trust area – nine in Craigavon and 13 in Lurgan – being treated for Covid-19.
There are currently 29 ICU beds available in Northern Ireland.
