A woman in her 40s has died following a road traffic collision near Tamnamore roundabout in Co. Tyrone.
The victim was involved in a two-vehicle collision on the Ballynakilly Road in Coalisland shortly after 9pm on Tuesday.
Police attended the scene along with other emergency services.
The female was driving a Renault Modus and was was treated at the scene but sadly passed away from her injuries.
The driver of a Volkswagen Golf was uninjured.
Inspector Lucas is appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured dash cam footage, to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 1981 of 14/07/20.
The Ballynakilly Road, which had been closed throughout the night, has now reopened.
