A woman who ended up trapped in this wreckage has thanked the person who found her.
Miraculously, the driver of this vehicle, Dee Dee Davidson, escaped with only minor injuries – some cuts and bruises as well as a seatbelt abrasion – following the accident on Holywood Road in Craigantlet on Wednesday morning.
She shared the image online and posted a thanks to everyone – including the brave emergency service personnel – who assisted her during this horrific ordeal.
Alongside the photograph, Ms Davidson posted: “I want to thank the person that found me and although the car was squashed they talked to me and reached their hand through to reassure me until the rescue services came.
“If this is you or you know that person, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart as I didn’t think anyone was going to find me down that bank and I was in serious panic mode.
“I would also like to thank the police man that squeezed through the back of the car to me and thank all the rescue services that were there to get me out and to safety.
“THANK YOU GUYS. YOU DO AN AMAZING JOB.”
A great job all round!!
