A young Co Armagh man has died after a collision involving a tractor.
It happened late on Friday evening and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
The deceased, who was 29, had been a passenger in a tractor. It is understood he was working close to the scene of the collision.
The green John Deere had been travelling along the Back Road, at Drumbo, close to Titterington Gardens, when it left the road after 9pm last night.
Newry and Armagh DUP MLA William Irwin knows the family well.
He described it as “a real tragedy”, particularly given the age of the young man who lost his life.
Mr Irwin told Armagh I : “My deepest sympathy and prayers are with the entire family circle”
The road was closed off and motorists are advised to take another route.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
They also want to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage or who was travelling on the Back Road last night and saw the tractor before the collosion.
