A pensioner was seriously injured in a road collision in county Armagh last last night (Monday).
The 69-year-old was in a car involved in a two-vehicle collision on the Tandragee Road in Portadown around 11pm.
Firefighters were forced to use hydraulic cutting gear to release the man.
The casualty received First Aid at the scene and was taken to the Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance. Fire crews from Portadown and Lurgan stations attended the incident.
It is unclear of the man’s current condition.
