Armagh I’s People of the Year Awards: Nominate your person to be proud of

People of the Year Awards

Is there a superstar in your area who deserves their moment in the spotlight? A neighbour who’s always willing to lend a helping hand, or a young person whose passion and commitment really shines through?

A volunteer who works to keep your neighbourhood clean and green, or a local business person that goes above and beyond? An individual within a community group that supports vulnerable people, or an arts project worker that lets peoples’ creativity shine?

Armagh I People Of The Year Awards gives you the opportunity to say, ‘Thank you for making a difference’.

With five award categories we aim to find those individuals who through selfless acts have improve the lives of others. These are:

– Inspirational Young Talent Award, Sponsored by Armagh Credit Union 

– Carer of the Year, Sponsored by CPS Property

– Sports Person of the Year, Sponsored by Traynors

– Tourism & Hospitality Champion of the Year, Sponsored by McShane Packaging

– Community Impact Award, Sponsored by Next Move Property

To nominate an individual simply download the nomination form and guidance on how to nominate and return via email to marketing@35.242.148.148 or post to : Armagh I, Suite 5, Dean Swift Building, 50 Hamiltonsbawn Road, Armagh, BT60 1HW.

Whilst a traditional awards ceremony will be lost this year to Covid-19, each winner will receive a one on a kind custom designed award hand crafted by a local artist following public voting due to take place from February 8 until February 27 when each winner will be announced on Friday, March 12, 2021.

Nominations are now open and will close Friday, January 29, 2021 at 5pm. Please note that late nominations will not be accepted.
