Police believe that two protected birds found dead in the Tandragee area in recent days had been shot.
The PSNI say they have responded to the remains of two common ravens having been found in the Aughlish Road area of the town over the past 10 days.
And this evening the PSNI took to Facebook to make an appeal for information.
They say: “Investigations to establish exact cause of death are continuing, however early indications are that the birds have been shot.
“Common raven are protected birds and are limited in numbers.
“We would appeal to anyone involved to stop this activity and would appeal for any information to assist us with our enquiries by calling 101 quoting ref 611 1/6/15.”
