Police in Craigavon have arrested a man and woman following a burglary at a house – where they latest discovered a cannabis factory!
Police received a report of a house on Tandragee Road, Portadown, being burgled around 3.30am today, Thursday, January 8.
A description of the burglar was circulated and officers stopped a female matching the description further along Tandragee Road.
The 19-year-old was found with a cannabis plant in her possession and two bags of household items.
Police returned to the burgled property and discovered a cannabis factory in the bedroom of the dwelling.
A 25-year-old man was arrested for possession of Class B drugs, possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply and cultivation of cannabis.
The 19-year-old was arrested for burglary and possession of Class B drugs.
Both are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
