Detectives are appealing for information after a report of a number of creeper style burglaries over the weekend at locations across Armagh City.
Sometime overnight on Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17, it was reported that a blue Audi A4 was stolen from a house in the Mullacreevie Green area of Armagh. It is also believed that a sum of money and other items were taken from a house during the incident.
The car was found a short time later in the area.
Then, shortly before 4:25am on Sunday, August 17, it was reported that a sum of money was taken from a service station at the Cathedral Road area.
It is believed a window was smashed at the rear of the property to gain entry. At around 10:30am on Sunday, it was reported that a sum of money and a spray tan machine were also stolen from business premises in the Cathedral Road area.
Police are also investigating a creeper style burglary at a house in the Ard Ri Park area of Armagh during the early hours of today, Monday, August 18. Shortly after 2am, it was reported that a blue Audi A4 was stolen from a house in the area.
It is believed entry was gained into the house and car keys were stolen during the incident. The car was later found at Killylea Road, Armagh.
Enquiries are continuing, but at this stage police are investigating a possible link between these incidents.
Anyone with any information about these incidents is asked to contact Armagh Police Station on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 457170814. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
