Cash stolen from safe in overnight burglary at Portadown restaurant

Cash was stolen from the safe of a restaurant on the outskirts of Portadown over the weekend.

The burglary occurred at the K11 Bar and Restaurant on the Dobbin Road during the early hours of Sunday morning.

It is understood the thieves struck between 2.30am and 3am.

Police are appealing for information and potential witnesses to come forward.

Inspector McCullough said: “Shortly before 12.20pm yesterday, Sunday, August 6, it was reported that entry had been gained to premises in the Dobbin Road area.

“A quantity of cash had been taken from a safe.

“Enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area, or who has any information which may assist us, to contact 101, and quote reference number 862 of 06/08/23.”
