A Portadown man who sent a video, which depicted a female masturbating, to a 16-year-old will have to wait until next month to learn his fate.
A judge commented that the 53-year-old was old enough to be the injured party’s grandfather.
Lloyd Fowler, of Drumcree Grove, pleaded guilty to improper use of public electronic communications at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
It was heard that on May 8, of 2017, the boyfriend of the injured party had an altercation with Fowler after he found pout about the video.
The video, which showed a female masturbating, was sent to the injured party on December 16, of 2016 through Facebook messenger.
Court heard that the defendant claimed he did not know that this was portrayed in the video which he had sent.
Upon hearing that the injured party was 16 when this offence took place District Judge Bernie Kelly ordered a pre-sentence report.
She stated: “That makes her a child and you are old enough to be her grandfather.”
The case will return to court on February 22 for sentencing.
