A pensioner has been left very distressed after a burglary at their home.
The incident happened on Friday in the Enniscrone Park area of Portadown on Friday.
Detective Inspector Harvey said it was believed entry was forced via the rear of the property some time between 5pm and 6.30pm.
“Although nothing was taken the householder is an older person who has been distressed by the whole event,” added DI Harvey.
“I would ask that anyone with information call 101 quoting reference number 1213 of 15/12/17. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
It is the latest in a spate of such incidents across the borough.
Also on Friday a house at Castle Rise in Tandragee was the target for burglars.
An iPad and laptop were taken during the incident and police are also investigating.
