Community raise over £1,600 in just two days for family of tragic Portadown car dealer

A fundraiser has been launched to help support the widow and daughter of a popular Portadown car dealer following his shock passing in March.

Father-of-one Christopher Wilson died unexpectantly from “natural causes” on March 10 leaving behind his loving wife Elisha and a “beautiful” three-month-old baby girl, Lennon.

Of family-run Ballintaggart Cars & Classics fame, Christopher was extremely well-known and respected in his local area.

Following his untimely death his family have been grappling to come to terms with his loss.

A fundraising effort has now been launched on GoFundMe by Megan Bradley and Claire Turbitt to help provide for his wife and daughter’s needs “as they navigate the future without him”.

They said: “This has been an incredibly difficult and tragic time for his family, friends, and all who knew him. Christopher was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a wonderful friend to so many.

“In the wake of his passing, we are hoping to come together to raise funds to help support his grieving family with anything they might need as they navigate the future without him.

“Any support you can give, whether big or small, will mean so much and will help ease some of the financial stress during this devastating time.”

After seeking to raise a total of £1,000 the page has already surpassed its target, reaching £1,700 in just two days.

Christopher was also the cherished son of Brian and Beverly, dearly loved brother of Katie, dear son-in-law of Tina and Neill, brother-in-law of Sophie, and uncle of Nate.

You can make a donation to Christopher’s GoFundMe page here.
