Detectives investigating the murder of 49-year-old Rolandas Kvederis in Portadown have been granted additional time by the court to question a man in his 50s who was arrested on suspicion of murder.
A second man, also in his 50s and previously arrested on suspicion of murder, has now been released unconditionally.
Mr Kvederis died following an incident at a property in the Ranfurley Road area late on Thursday 26 March. Police received a report of an altercation shortly after 11pm, and despite the efforts of emergency services, Mr Kvederis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team continue to appeal for information. Anyone who may have information, or who has CCTV, doorbell or other footage from the Ranfurley Road area around the time of the incident, is urged to contact police on 101, quoting reference 1809 26/03/26.
