A car belonging to a pensioner and ex-serviceman has been vandalised in Portadown over the weekend.
The incident occurred in the Mahon Drive area of the town.
It has been reported that damaged was recorded to the main body of the car, with all four tyres having been slashed.
The surface of the car was also scratched with a key.
Jonathan Buckley, MLA for Upper Bann, said that he was “saddened” to learn of the incident.
He said: “I am beyond disgusted to learn of this treatment to someone that has served their country, and I would appeal to anyone with information to present it to the police.”
Sergeant Moore, appealing for information, said: “Police received a report shortly before 11.20am on Sunday morning, March 26 that damage had been caused to a car parked in the driveway at a house in the area.
“The tyres of the vehicle had been slashed and a window at the front of the property had also been damaged.
“We believe the damage was caused sometime between 7pm on Saturday, March 25 and Sunday morning.
“Anyone who witnessed this damage taking place or who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage to call police on 101, quoting reference 635 of 26/03/23.”
