An elderly lady was left badly shaken after two men broke into her home and stole cash while she was inside.
The incident happened in the Margretta Park area of Portadown last night (Wednesday).
Detective Inspector Harvey said: “Shortly before 7.45 pm the householder disturbed two people who had gained entry to the property via a ground floor window before they made off with a sum of cash.
“The householder, who is an older lady, was shaken but no injured as a result of the incident. We are now seeking the public’s assistance with the investigation.
“Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference 1410 of 20/12/17.
“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
It is understood the intruders were dressed head-to-toe in black and wearing hooded tops.
