Around 1,500 people descended upon Portadown People’s Park with their picnic baskets and blankets in tow to enjoy the “Picnic in the Park” event at the weekend.
The event was organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council in conjunction with Churches Together in Portadown.
With free interactive activities including inflatables, face painting, balloon modelling, football and not to mention picnic hampers full of delicious eats, everyone was catered for and it certainly proved to be an enjoyable day in the fresh air for all the family.
