Residents have been evacuated from a number of homes in Portadown following a security alert this afternoon.
Police are currently in attendance at the scene in the Glanroy Avenue area of the town following the discovery of a suspicious object.
A PSNI spokesperson commented: “Glanroy Avenue is closed and a number of homes in the area have been evacuated.
“There are no further details at present.”
