Tenants in the Brownstown Road area of Portadown are having their homes modernised, courtesy of the Housing Executive.
Work is underway on the planned improvement scheme were 46 properties will have new kitchens and bathrooms installed.
In total, around £270,000 is being invested in the upgrade programme, which is being carried out by PK Murphy Construction Ltd.
The ongoing scheme is expected to be finished in late spring.
Local resident, Audrey Gillespie’s Clounagh Park home has already been upgraded as part of the scheme.
She said: “I’m delighted with my new kitchen and bathroom and it has really modernised my home, so I would like to thank the Housing Executive for their work.
“Everything was done safely due to Covid-19 restrictions too. The workmen were very good at their jobs and courteous and it really put my mind at ease.
“It is nice that as we come out of lockdown and summer months are upon us, my home has been improved.”
