A man is in a serious condition in hospital after sustaining a head wound during a suspected disturbance in Portadown.
Detectives are investigating after the 22-year-old was found injured at a property in the Garvaghy Street area of the town on Thursday.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police and paramedics were called to the address at around at around 8.20pm after sounds of a possible disturbance were heard.
“A 22-year-old male, who had sustained a serious head injury, was located inside.
“He remains in a serious condition in hospital at present.
“At this time it is not clear if the injury has occurred as the result of an assault or a fall and detectives in Lurgan CID are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and who may have witnessed something that could assist the investigation.
