A man, arrested following a report of a burglary in Portadown on Saturday, is to appear in court this morning (Monday).
The 31-year-old is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrate’s Court.
He has been charged with offences including three counts of assault on police, two counts of burglary, disorderly behaviour, criminal damage, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, threats to damage property, common assault, improper use of telecommunications and harassment.
Speaking over the weekend, Inspector Conway, said: “Shortly before 2.40pm on Saturday, officers received and responded to a report of a burglary in the Bann Street area of Portadown.
“During the course of the arrest, three officers were assaulted, sustaining minor injuries.”
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
