Man accused of rioting in Portadown and having rucksack containing bottles has case adjourned

A 24-year-old Portadown man accused of riotous behaviour and possessing a rucksack “containing glass bottles” with intent to use them or to permit others to use them, has had his court case further adjourned.

Tyler Harvey, of Fitzgerald Park in the town, is charged in relation to the West Street area of Portadown on Thursday, June 11.

He is also charged that without lawful authority or reasonable excuse had “bottles and masonry” as ‘offensive weapons’.

At Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, the case was further adjourned to August 14. The accused is on continuing bail.
