A Portadown man accused of robbing petrol will face Crown Court proceedings later this year.
Bradley Thornbury, 23, of Parkmore, appeared charged with one count of robbery at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
As the charge was read, it was heard that on June 22 the defendant was alleged to have robbed petrol from a named male.
Stood in the dock, Thornbury made no objection to the holding of a preliminary enquiry.
Prosecution stated that based on the papers before the court there was a prima facie case to answer.
Defence barrister David McKeown made no contrary submission to this assertion.
District Judge Steven Keown said he was satisfied that there was a case to answer.
Thornbury was released on his own bail of £500 to appear before Craigavon Crown Court on December 10 for arraignment.
