Man suffered arm and facial injuries after being mugged in Portadown

A man suffered arm and facial injuries after being mugged in Portadown.

The 36-year-old was set upon by a gang of males as he walked along the towpath at the rear of the Tesco store at Meadow Lane.

The incident happened between 4.30pm and 5pm last Wednesday, November 25.Meadow Lane, Portadown

The victim’s blue rucksack, which has a white skull on the back of it, was stolen by the thugs.

The rucksack contained money and police in Lurgan are appealing for information.

Detectives in Lurgan are appealing for information following an assault in Portadown.

Detective Constable Robinson said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Lurgan on 101, quoting ref: 978 011215.”
