A man is undergoing eye surgery after being glassed in the face at a Co Armagh pub.
The incident happened at around midnight at Bennetts Bar at Mandeville Street in Portadown.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.
The man was assaulted on the dance floor.
He required stitches to his head after being glassed in what police have described as a “cowardly attack”.
A PSNI spokesperson urged anyone on the premises who has information to come forward.
“If you saw anything, have mobile phone footage of the incident, or have heard anyone talking about it, please call us on 101,” he said.
“The reference number is 43 of today, 22/07/18.”
