A man sent a video to a care worker of him attempting to set fire to carpet with a lighter at his address at Praxis Care at Tandragee Road in Portadown.
Stefan Sedtke (22) has pleaded guilty to attempted arson which happened on February 26 this year.
The case was mentioned at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
The defendant has been further remanded in custody.
A defence lawyer said the defendant is awaiting sentencing at the Crown Court for arson to a lorry.
The Magistrates’ Court case has been adjourned to May 9.
