Police are appealing for information following the report of an aggravated burglary at a property in the Oakwood Place, Portadown last night (Wednesday).
It was reported that at around 9.50pm, a group of masked men armed with sledgehammers forced their way into a property in the area.
The men assaulted a woman who was inside the property before making off from the area. It is not believed anything was taken.
A 39-year-old man was arrested and later released on bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Dave Stewart said: “Enquiries are continuing and detectives are appealing to anyone who witnessed anyone, any vehicle or anything suspicious in the area to contact 101, quoting reference number 1991 of 21/10/20.
