Two men have been arrested following a series of incidents in Portadown.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a number of incidents in the Meadow Lane, West Street and Thomas Street areas of Portadown.
Detective Inspector Stephen Harvey said: “Police in Lurgan received a report of an assault in the Meadow Lane area just before midnight.
“Between 2am and 3am we received a further two further reports of an assault and robbery in the West Street of the town as well as criminal damage to a property in Thomas Street.
“Two men, aged 36 and 21 were subsequently arrested at a house in the Thomas Street area, on suspicion of a number of offences including criminal damage, common assault and robbery. They remain in custody.
“Anyone with information about these incidents should contact police in Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 93 of 8/2/17 . Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
