Police have issued ‘new’ images taken two weeks ago of a high-risk missing person.
Norman Prentice, 55, was last seen in Portadown two weeks – as per the above image.
A PSNI spokesperson tonight issued the latest update on the search for Mr Prentice.
“It’s been several days since Norman Prentice was reported as missing,” the statement on social media read.
“In that time, departments including CID, response, Neighbourhood, TSG, LPT support, C3 Intelligence Branch, Air Support Unit and our colleagues from the Community Rescue Service have searched huge areas in and around Portadown where he was last seen.
“Today, we received new footage which we believe is the most up to date and recent images of Norman.
“Our last confirmed sighting of Norman is this image (main), taken in a bank on Friday 5th, exactly two weeks ago.
“Since then, we have unconfirmed sightings on Saturday 13th and the morning of Sunday 14th in Woodhouse Street.
“If this photo jogs your memory, or you believe you may have seen Norman at all since Friday 5th, please get in touch with us immediately. Call us on 101. The reference number is 312 of 15/01/18.
“We want to build as full a picture as possible of where else he may go, where he may drink or socialise, and cross check that with what we know and where we’ve searched so far.
“Please Craigavon, share this far and wide. It is of course possible, for whatever reason, that he has left town, so lets get this out as widely as possible.
“We’re very worried about Norman, but that’s nothing compared to what his family are going through right now. If you know ANYTHING, no matter how small, it may assist us. Give us a call. Let’s get Norman home.”
