Three men were spotted fleeing from a car in Lurgan following a burgling spree in nearby Portadown on Sunday evening.
Police confirmed that a 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, however, two unidentified males, believed to have been involved remain unaccounted for.
Between 8pm and 9pm on Sunday, four properties were burgled in Clanbrassil Drive; Village Walk; Clonavon Avenue and Ridgeway park areas of Portadown.
One of the men entered a property as a 101-year-old lay asleep in her bed.
Cash and a quantity of jewellery were taken and the elderly woman was left distressed and extremely frightened by the ordeal.
In a separate burglary the male occupant of the house disturbed the intruder and although he was not injured, he too was left badly shaken.
The other two properties, which had been entered, had no occupants in at the time.
A short time after the crime spree, police on patrol spotted two men flee from a white Mitsubishi vehicle in the Lurgan area.
A third man, aged 29, was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences and remains in custody at this time.
Detective Constable Stewart appealed for any information in relation to the two males who fled the vehicle or regarding anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area.
