Police appeal for witnesses after ‘incident’ between young man and woman

Police have appealed for help in finding a young man – believed to be in his teens – after what was described as an ‘incident’ involving a female earlier this month.

Police in Portadown want to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident between the two at around 11.05pm on Saturday, May 7.

It happened at CHurch Street in Portadown and the male, reported to have been riding a bicycle, made off in the direction of Magowan Buildings.

The boy is described as being black, around 15 to 17 years old, 5ft – 5’2″ in height, short, afro style hair, clean shaven, and wearing a gray hoodie.

Anyone who believes they saw a person matching this description in the area at the time or who maybe witnessed this incident, should contact Police at Lurgan on 101, quoting reference : 71 of 08/05/16.
