Police in Portadown are appealing for information after a bin was set on fire and pushed up against the front door of a property in the Clonavon Avenue area in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
The incident was reported at around 3.19am, when the bin was deliberately ignited and positioned against the door of the house.
A young male was seen running from the scene. He was described as wearing a black hoodie and grey tracksuit bottoms.
Another male was also spotted in the area at the time. He was dressed all in black and was riding an e-scooter.
Officers are treating the incident as arson.
Police have asked anyone who was in the Clonavon Avenue area around that time and noticed anything suspicious, or who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage covering the area, to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 279 of 20/08/26.
