A Portadown man accused of attempting to have a ‘sexual communication’ with a child is set to have his case sent to the Crown Court.
Peter Lyness, of Derryall Road, is charged in relation to between September 30 and October 29 in 2023.
The 37-year-old is also charged with making and possessing indecent photos of children and possession of an ‘extreme pornographic image’ between August in 2020 and October 2023.
At Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday the case was adjourned to November 28 to fix a date for a preliminary enquiry – the legal step to sen the case to the Crown Court.
The defendant is on continuing bail.
