Police have charged a 31-year-old man with attempted murder.
It is understood the charge relates to an incident in the Abercorn Park area of Portadown shortly before midnight last night (Wednesday).
The man has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Friday), May 6.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
