A man has been accused of drink driving with an unrestrained five-month old baby on his lap.
Irmantas Kuros, 39, appeared at Belfast’s High Court charged with being three times over the limit when he was stopped by police in Portadown, Co Armagh last month.
The court heard the defendant was travelling with his five-month-old son on his knee – days after being disqualified from driving.
Police spotted him driving along Mahon Road on October 24.
Defence counsel said his client could not explain why he was so drunk when stopped.
The Lithuanian national was granted bail on a number of conditions, one of which included not being alongside his children in any private vehicle.
Kuros will appear back in court at a later date.
