A husband and wife have sadly both passed away within three days of each other in Portadown.
William (Billy) Kerr passed away last Thursday, before his beloved wife, Violet Winifred (Freda), passed on Sunday in hospital.
The couple, late of Ulsterville Park, were the dearest father and mother of Sandra, Billy and Arlene.
Tributes to the pair have been paid over the last number of days.
One woman, who knew them well, said: “A beautiful wee couple, many good memories chatting with them at the front doorstep calling with gifts from the Evergreens.”
Another commented: “So sorry to hear of Freda’s passing, such a lovely friendly lady she was. Such a sad loss of both parents so close. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this sad time.”
Many others offered their condolences to the heartbroken family, on losing parents so close together.
The couple’s deaths follows on from the passing of Paddy and Anne McCann in Lurgan, who sadly passed away within a week of each other.
