Police are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision on Northway in Portadown.
It is understood two cars have been involved in the collision which occurred shortly after 3pm today (December 23).
The road is closed in both directions at the Brownstown Road junction and diversions are in place.
Delays are expected and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
There is also a separate traffic-related incident in the Shamrock Park / Armagh Road junction area contributing to further disruption.
Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart said: “Traffic is tailing back in all directions, and police are currently on site directing vehicles.
“It may not be a sequencing issue with the traffic lights. There appears to be an accident in the vicinity.
“I have reported the situation and will follow up to ensure it is addressed as quickly as possible.
“Please allow extra time for travel in the area and consider alternative routes if you can. I will share updates as they become available.”
