A vehicle was seen fleeing shortly after two diggers were set a light in Clonmore in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened along the Clonmore Road shortly after midnight.
A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information following a report of an arson in a yard on the Clonmore Road.
“On Monday, June 16 at 12.13am two diggers were set alight and a few minutes later, a vehicle was seen making off from the area.
“If you observed any suspicious activity in the area around this time, or have CCTV cameras covering the area, please get in contact using 101 and quote serial 26 of the 16/06/25.”
