Police in Newry are appealing for information following a theft of a post box.
Around 3.20am on Sunday, 24 May a post box, described as a ‘lamp box’ was taken from outside a shop at Shandon Park, Newry.
It was cut from its mounting by an angle grinder. Three males, travelling in a saloon car were seen in the area around this time.
Constable Mark McCartan said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 293 260515.”
