The PSNI in Armagh is calling on motorists to slow down and put pedestrian safety first.
It did so after confirming it will be stepping up patrols in the Ballynahonemore area of Armagh.
It comes in response to complaints of speeding vehicles, especially around school times, in the residential area.
The PSNI says patrols will be stepped up and speed operations conducted.
Police issued the call via its Facebook page, reporting: “We would prefer not to be issuing tickets so if in the area please slow down.
“Every extra MPH will increase your stopping distance. Please consider the safety of our local residents and children.”
