A ram raid burglary at a convenience store near Cloughreagh has been condemned.
Sinn Féin MLA Mickey Brady said the ramming of Mc Cooeys Shop and subsequent theft from the premises premises was not only an attack on a local business, which had served the community for generations, but also an attack on that very community.
Mr Brady said: “This disgraceful attack on a local convenience store, owned by a respected family for generations, is viewed by most of us also as an attack on this community.
“”I would appeal for anyone with information regarding this incident to give it to the PSNI. Those who carried out this dastardly act should face the full rigours of the law.”
