There are reports that a man has been taken to hospital after an attack in Armagh City tonight (Wednesday).
An incident is understood to have happened in an entryway in the Callanbridge area and the scene remains cordoned off.
Ambulance and PSNI attended the scene of the incident, which is understood to have happened between 6.30pm and 7pm.
There are conflicting reports of how the man sustained his injuries, the extent of which are not known at this stage.
There are no further details at present.
