New ‘rentable’ light manufacturing units planned near Richhill in significant investment

The plans are for four units to be built at a site on the Battlehill Road

Richhill storage units

Four new light industrial units could be built near Richhill.

Proposals for the development – at Battlehill Road – have been submitted to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council for consideration.

The plans are for four rental units – for light manufacturing and storage purposes – would represent a significant investment and bring a small number of jobs when completed and occupied.

Proposals also include parking provision – a total of 20 spaces to be precise – for future tenants, visitors and staff.

The site, specifically, is described in the application as being to the rear of 122 Battlehill Road.

The proposals have been drawn up in the name of Rodney Williamson, of JRW1, at Dobbin Road.

Three of the planned units would measure 30ft by 50ft, with the fourth and largest being 40ft by 60ft. The area would be securely surrounded by fencing.

The proposals will now be advertised shortly.
