A Richhill man who assaulted an officer and damaged a vehicle belonging to the PSNI will have to wait until next month to learn his fate.
Court heard the 29-year-old is currently subject to a live suspended sentence for breaching a non-molestation order.
Gerard Anthony Rafferty, of Mullanasilla Road, pleaded guilty to assault on police and criminal damage at Armagh Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
The particulars of the offence are that on November 16 the defendant damaged a police vehicle and assaulted an officer.
Defence barrister Kevin O’Hare stated: “This may be a case for a report. He is in breach of a live suspended sentence for breaching a non-molestation order.
“He is a welder by trade, albeit he is not in employment at present. This offence has no association with the non-molestation order.”
Rafferty was released on bail until February 2 for sentencing.
