A big breakfast fundraiser in memory of Lesley-ann McCarragher has raised in the region of £7,500.
And donations are still being accepted.
The event was held in Milford on Saturday and huge numbers turned out to support it and raise money for the Air Ambulance appeal.
The organisers had the support of Lesley-ann’s family and the money will be a fantastic boost to the appeal.
The 19-year-old died after she was struck by a vehicle while jogging along the Monaghan Road, close to the village.
The organisers have said more than 700 turned out at the old School House in Milford on Saturday morning.
They have hailed the suppoer as “amazing” and thanked everyone – those who attended and volunteered, cooked, served and cleaned up afterwards.
