Searches across south Armagh and Newry have led to one man being arrested and £50,000 in cash being seized.
Detectives from PSNI Organised Crime Unit conducted nine searches on Monday.
Detective Inspector Keith Gawley said: “Detectives conducted a number of searches in the South Armagh and Newry areas earlier today, making one arrest and recovering more than £50,000 in cash, mobile phones and documentation.
“Two lorries and fuel were also seized, along with a related mobile fuel laundering site.”
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of offences relating to possession and concealing criminal property.
He remains in custody at present.
DI Gawley added: “We are continuing to appeal to the public to report anything suspicious to us. Get in touch on the non-emergency number 101, or if you think a crime is in progress call 999.
“Information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
