Work to fix two serious defects along roads in Forkhill have been completed.
Sinn Féin councillor Mickey Larkin has welcomed a number of road repairs carried out recently in Forkhill.
“Recently, two serious defects developed on both the Shean Road and the Longfield Road,” the Slieve Gullion councillor explained.
At the Shean road, a blocked pipe had caused the tarmac to rise several inches, while at the Longfield Road, part of the road surface had subsided.
“I reported both of these issues to roads service and asked them to deal with them as a matter of urgency.
“Thankfully, they responded very quickly and both defects have now been repaired.
“I would like to thank the roads service for their prompt response to these issues.
