More than a dozen cars have been destroyed in arson attack in south Armagh.
The attack happened shortly before 2.15am on Tuesday at a business on the Forkhill Road.
A total of 15 cars parked in the area were set on fire and two masked men were spotted fleeing the scene in a black Toyota Avensis.
Fire crews attended the and extinguished the fires.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Damage was caused to the vehicles involved and the incident is being treated as deliberate ignition.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and police would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 125 31/12/19.”
Sinn Fein councillor Liz Kimmins condemned the attack.
“This disgraceful act of premeditated criminality has shocked the local community,” she said. “Anyone with any information about this incident should contact the police as a matter of urgency.”
